A newborn session isn’t just another photography session. It’s the first one. It’s either the first one ever, or the first one with this child. It’s emotional, not only because the mom is around 10 days postpartum, but because it’s a quiet time to just sit back and watch your little one from a distance. Maybe it’s the first time you’ve been hit with, “This girl is finally here and she’s mine!”
This time is special for me too…especially if I know the family outside of my business. I get the unique opportunity to capture a time in life that is so important, so special, so incredible and I love that I am part of the story. I am truly honored to be a part of that. These are the reasons I love newborn photography and am passionate about being a photographer in the Northern, CO area. It’s the “brand new story” that I get to be a part of telling.
