this is what is on my computer right now…..doesn’t she have gorgeous eyes? i’m actually working on another newborn shoot and should have some ‘peeks’ tomorrow but i wanted to post one from the shoot I did yesterday..i still can’t get over her eyes and her eyelashes!!

those of you who have a handful of boys running around your home know what it’s like to just *know* this one’s a boy. i sure do. there is hope for a girl but you never think it’s really going to happen. all the signs are there and this one feels just like the others. well, for this momma all of that was true. she was completely convinced her life would be full of boys. and she was so stunned and in disbelief when they told her “it’s a girl!” what a sweet blessing it is to be a part of this little ‘pink’ life. here are a few images of little ‘A’ at only 4 days old.
I love her dark hair and the little swirl on the back!

i’ve been busy with the summer starting to wind down and excited to show off some of the ‘latest’. it’s hard to believe that fall is almost here and it’s time to start thinking about Christmas sessions…anyway, here are a few of what i’m currently working on. this little one is so sweet and so very serious. she made me work for the smiles but the work paid off! it’s so fun for me to be a part of these families and their ‘new’ ones!

keep up with this blog, especially since I’m not on facebook anymore. BUT, that’s a lot harder than i always think it will be. so, i will try my best to keep this updated with all my lovely clients and my family. hopefully that will motivate me to actually take pictures of my own kiddos! speaking of…little “w” will be 4 months this week. yes, a shoot is in order!!

here is the first of a couple shares. this family resides in illinois – i absolutely love how these turned out. i think they really show off their personalities and have a fun, summer feel to them.

this little guy took his time getting here…maybe that’s a sign he will be easy-going! He joins his family as number 5 and he is the sweetest thing. i had the privilege of hanging with him at 7 days old and what a champ he was! here are a few of my favs so far. oh, and, thanks to my amazing assistant!

for those that may not know…my ‘mia’ status the last couple weeks is all the fault of our newest family member…baby boy #4. i’ve been on a ‘maternity leave’ of sorts and am still on my self-imposed leave. BUT, just like many of you, i cannot completely put the camera down…it would be just silly! so, here are a bunch of pics i’ve been meaning to share…oh, and currently my schedule is ‘full’ but I will be taking new clients starting in July. thanks for your patience the last couple months!

her due date was 4 days from mine, she was having a boy, she was having baby boy #4, and mr lincoln is 4 days younger than whitten…..kind of crazy huh? here is our buddy at 7 days old..
