keep up with this blog, especially since I’m not on facebook anymore. BUT, that’s a lot harder than i always think it will be. so, i will try my best to keep this updated with all my lovely clients and my family. hopefully that will motivate me to actually take pictures of my own kiddos! speaking of…little “w” will be 4 months this week. yes, a shoot is in order!!
here is the first of a couple shares. this family resides in illinois – i absolutely love how these turned out. i think they really show off their personalities and have a fun, summer feel to them.
this little guy took his time getting here…maybe that’s a sign he will be easy-going! He joins his family as number 5 and he is the sweetest thing. i had the privilege of hanging with him at 7 days old and what a champ he was! here are a few of my favs so far. oh, and, thanks to my amazing assistant! 
for those that may not know…my ‘mia’ status the last couple weeks is all the fault of our newest family member…baby boy #4. i’ve been on a ‘maternity leave’ of sorts and am still on my self-imposed leave. BUT, just like many of you, i cannot completely put the camera down…it would be just silly! so, here are a bunch of pics i’ve been meaning to share…oh, and currently my schedule is ‘full’ but I will be taking new clients starting in July. thanks for your patience the last couple months!
her due date was 4 days from mine, she was having a boy, she was having baby boy #4, and mr lincoln is 4 days younger than whitten…..kind of crazy huh? here is our buddy at 7 days old..
this is our newest dude…and what’s been keeping me busy these days..of course he’s the cutest thing *ever*…can’t believe it’s been 6 weeks already…definitely want this one to stay small!

I actually took these back in February but because of the Washington state adoption laws I couldn’t post anything public until his adoption was final…well, as of April 16th this little guy became a member of the coolest family ever. He is such a gift and this mommy and daddy couldn’t be any more deserving. we love you guys!
i ‘played’ with this sweet girl last week when she was 7 days old….she is such a sweet little thing and slept most of the time! and, I even got a few of big sis…isn’t she beautiful??!!
this post marks the last of my sessions before our own itty bitty arrives. if you are interested in a newborn session please send me an email or call…i will be taking some time off but will do limited newborn sessions.

a sweet friend of mine let me use her house for a newborn shoot a few weeks ago…i had to cancel that shoot because of a sick dude but managed to squeeze in a ‘mini’ session with our friend ‘A’….she is full of sass and spunk but as sweet as can be at the same time…we love her and all the sass she brings! here are just a few that i’ve worked on. i’m trying to get everything finished before our ‘new’ one gets here…hopefully I can!

the name says it all….i teased momma that she has a diva on her hands because little miss jetta made me work for it! It’s funny how both mom and dad can be so easy going, so cool calm and collected but they make a baby that is just a diva…no other way to put it! these pictures make her look chubby but she was really a peanut with loose skin. here are a few of the baby diva herself…since everyone was asking!

last weekend I had the amazing privilege to attend a workshop focusing on newborns. I have been waiting for almost a year to meet the famous Kelley Ryden and Tracy Raver and I finally had the cash to do it. So, I headed to snowy Nebraska and spent 2 incredible days learning and sweating and hanging out with a talented and fun group of ladies. I wanted to share some of the shots I came home with. Currently I am doing free newborn sessions so I can practice all the fun things I learned so if you have a newborn between 5 and 10 days old give me a call or send me an email….this offer is only good until my own little one comes, which hopefully will be the end of March. Oh, and included with this free session is a set of proofs or a box of announcements.
